Thanville castle

Commissioned by Association des amis du Château de Thanvillé. Scanning Thanville castle and surroundings, spanning more than4 hectares. It is our largest by area, drone photogrammetry project so far. To avoid problems caused by changing sun position and shadows we used 3 drones flying simultaneously, each on a separate parallel mission. By performing scans on three altitudes simultaneously we achieved very low alignment error and drift on long distances. It would not be possible without help from our friends Etienne Fritsch and Nicolas Dellenbach piloting additional drones.
